Christchurch, March 17. _Tha number of persons who recorded Qwdi votes at the election yesterday of aepresentatives of the city on the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was 1953. Wanganui,' March 17. Messrs. Carson, Battle, and Spriggins *ere elected to the Hospital Board. The lady candidate was defeated. ,
