■ The Management Committee of tho "Wellington Football Association met at Hie Y.M.C.A. last - night, Present:— Messrs. B. L. Saimon (chairman), Davidson, Mayer, Oilier, Mackay, Auld, Wood, Paton, Roberts, and. Williams (secretary). Jlr. 11. N. Holmes was appointed chairman of the committeo for the season. The AVadistoivn Wanderers were affiliated to the association, and the question of their colours was referred back to them. St. James Y.JI. Club was affiliated, and their colours (yellow and black) were approved. The colours of St, John's Club (yellow, and black boons and white pants) were ordered to lie registered. St. Augustine's, Petonc, was afliliated, and their colours (brown shirts) were approved. The alteration of the colours of St. David's, l'etone, was agreed to.
The secretary, was instructed to write* to all tho clubs that their players must appear in tho proper club colours in matches.
It was left to the secretary to allot the grounds, for practices next Saturday. The : Y.H.C.A. Cliib was granted permission to pluy a team-from the uicn-o'-war to-day. Alterations in the Brown Shield rules, as suggested by the N.Z.F.A., wcro agreed to, with one or two slight alteration* On the motion of Mr. Roberts, it was decided to .set up a consultative committee to deal with minor details, and report to the general committee. The following were elected to this committee:— Messrs. ■H. N. Holmes, B. L.. Salmon, \Y. and the secretary. , The following committees 'were- also elected:— . ..

Tho Association football club, of 'he Boys' Institute held their annual meeting last night, about ,40 boys being present! The. report and balance-sheet were i adopted. Officers for the ensuing year i were elected as follow:—Hon. president, Mr. G. A. Trout?; hon. vice-presidents,! Messrs. II." T. Thorni) son, J. Thomson, j M'Furlaiie, Geo. Hutchinson, D., Howitt, and A. East; hon. secretary, Master J. Howitt; hon. treasurer, Mr. C. P. Coloneus; club captain, Master G. Hill; Selection Committee, Mr. Dick, and Masters S. Bedell, K. Furness, E. •Richards, and G. Hill. The institute will probably put four teams in the field this season.
