SHIPPING CONTRACT.
CANADA AND NEW ZEALAND,

The contract, with, the New Zealand Shipping Company provides for a monthly sailing to Montreal in the summer, and to St. John in the-winter, the steamers calling at Halifax. . The subsidy is .£2OOO a month. The rates will not exceed those from similar ports in the United States.
