' - The Seamen's Union during the coal and coastal .strikes paid .£11,500 to members out of work, in addition to jEfiG paid to other unions. . . (Rec. March 16, 0.5 a.m.) Sydney, March 15. All the Northern collieries, with the exception of Hetton, are now at work. Hetton will resume to-morrow. The' fleet of vessels awaiting coal are now being moved under the cranes. Melbourne, March 15. The Railway Commissioners, by using Powlett River coal, will save £30,000 per aiinum, while JE35,000 in' coal freights will be earned' this year.
