On Friday afternoon a meeting of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand was held at the National Mutual Life Association's Buildings; and was attended by the president . (Mr. Fml. Castle), and Messrs. G. Baglev, A. Eobson, and J. Baillie. Some consideration was given to tlie question of accepting articles of apprenticeship served to olioniists iu business outside New Zealand, and in view of the statutory provisions bearing 011 the matter it was decided, 011 the motion of the president, that in future such articles could not be accepted By the board. Mr. Hobson introduced suggestions for a scheme for the provision of.uetter facilities for pharmaceutical education and tlie establishment at the centres of the Dominion of courses adapted to pharmaceutical students and their, requirements.
