Entry- forms may be fed* from Messrs.. A.- J.' Bloxam and, J. ■B. Speed. .programme of events is a we'll diversified one, and 'one. wKich should appeal to the. sporting and: general public. The Wg-of war is creating considerable. 1 interest.'-and Spargo's team (previous winners) ..wiir have to put up .a good .strong pull to retain their honour's. ■An Irish jig competition will also, be held, as well.as a.competition.among the pipers of the city,..which'should, revive the .one-time 'interest in-. .Caledonian circles. An exhibition on the Irish war-pipes-will also be. given. .One. of the chief attractions will .be S. Kerr's attempt, to lower ,the Australasian record in the three-mile wait. . ■ . '■■
