THE NEWCASTLE AGREEMENT. By Teleeraph—Frees Association—CoDTrizht. Sydney, March 12. In connection with the settlement of the Newcastle strike it is announced that all former employees in the Northern Distriot will be re-employed under the old conditions. * It is understood only 21 of the men now out will bo displaced: WOOLCOMBERS , STRIKE SETTLED. (Reo. Maroh 13, 5 p.m.) London, March 12. The wooloombers' strike has ended. A slight increase in wages has been granted, and the formation of a joint board to adjust disputes has been agreed upon. •
