MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.

There was a' large, attendance at \ tho I Missions to Seamen Institute last evening, when the weekly ambulance meeting was held. ■ Mr. James Moore, the inisskmer, gave several demonstrations showing how ; to bandage fractured limbs, a burned' face, cuts, etc. He also gave useful hints relating to, health matters. Competitions in connection with' ambulance work were won by sailors from ships in . port. Hiss Copeland provided an enjoyable programme of music, the. following contributing items-.—Misses Graham, Copeland, and Hickey, Mr. Morris, and Master Sewell. Miss Copeland presided at tho piano. Tho performers were accorded a hoarty vote of thanks at the conclusion of the meeting.
