' Aocording to the Taihapo "Times" all the men deny having had anything to do with tho Annabell incident in the Taihapo engine shed. The "Times" eaya that Annabell lay down on an engine tender, resting his head on some cotton waste, and partly covering his head with his folded arms. It is considered possible that, as he carried a "slush" lamp on his cap when ho fell asleep, the lamp may have fallen and ignited the oily cot; ton waste.
