TOWN BELT LEASES.
.'- *- -' - The following tenders for leases- of Town Belt sections were accepted by the City Council last evening:— Mr. Russell, Section-18;. Mr. R. Rose/ Section 43; Mr. G. W. Connor, Sections 33 and 34. A reduction of £2 10s. per annum was I authorised to' be'' made in the rental of Sections 3 and 4, leased to Mr. H. Lang-' don, in consequence of tho Mount Victoria Road being taken through his sections: ■ The council determined to resume Section 19, Town Bolt, leased to Mr. John Campbell, and to make a payment of JE2O, being cost of improvements and for loss of turf, and also lease him Section 30, Town Belt, for seven years, at a rental of .£ls per annum. : i
