Last evening!' at the Te Aro Baths, five heats for the 50 yards, handicap, in connection with, the W.A.S.C. sports'on Saturday, were got off. The finals will be swum off on' Saturday. The following were the results:WFirst heat: G. Crawford, 1; W. Cook, 2; and L. Pope, 3. Second heat: J. Watson, 1; F. Delaney, 2; L. Fairbairn, 3. Third heat: L. C'armichael, 1; J. Ford, 2; C. Lamberg, 3. Fourth heat: L.-Wilson, 1; H. Sim, 2; D. Martin, 3. Time, 35 «sec. Fifth heat: E: Harty, 1; N. M'Lean, 2; H. Little, 3. Time, 31 2-ssec.
