Referring to the warning bells of tramcars, motor-cars, and other similar vehicles, the District Coroner (Mr. W. B. Haselden, S.M.), at tho inquest on Saturday on the victim of tho recent tram accident, said that dwellers in cities got so accustomed to bells that they hardly heard or heeded them. 110 instanced the Post Office clock bell, which though loud, was seldom heard by those who livod near tho Post Office.
