ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
The sixty-second anniversary.' of the Sydney Street Primitive Methodist .Sunday School was held yesterday, when the church was tastefully decorated., The morning and evening services were conducted respectively by, the llev. E A Sharp, who is taking his farewell, and the Kev. C. E. Ward, who delivered appropriate addresses. In the afternoon, tho Kev. W. S. Potter gave'a- very interesting object' lesson on" f 'Sec'dsi" whilst Miss Jean Nicholas sang a solo, arid recitations wer.e-given,-, by Jliss Florence way, and Masters W. Scatchard and P. Hendry. The scholars and choir, under the ablo conductorship of Mr. E. H btephens rendered special choruses in an excellent manapr at all the services. Misses Ward and J. Nicholas presided at the organ and piano respectively, and were assisted by an efficient orchestra. J.he anniversary will be continued on Wednesday evening. ■
