Kennedy Macdonald, Ltd., insert particulars in our auction columns of a most important auction sale (absolutely unreserved), of Mr. Leonard St. Lawrence's valuable library, comprising historical works and general literature; also the balance of his magnificent collection of art treasurer—Bo valuable water-colours, carved ivory ornaments, bric-a-brac, etc. Tho solo will be held in their rooms, 157 Lambton Quay, on Monday and Tuesday next, at 1.30 o'clock each day. This is advertised as being the most valuable collection of books and art treasures submitted for unreserved sale in Wellington. Catalogues may be liad on application.. Tho goods are now on view, and a. special gaslight display will be given on Monday evening, from 7.J0 till 9 o'clock.
