THE WARATAH.

A CUSHION WOULD BE NO PROOF. By Telceranh—Press Association—Gopyricht (Rec. March 5, 1 a.m.). Melbourne, March 4. With regard to the. reported finding of a cushion marked W (also of other articles) washed up on tho Cape Colony coast, an officer, of the Lund line (owners of tho Waratah) says there is nothing to signify that tho cushion belonged to tho Waratah. If any of tho vessel's cushions wero marked, thoy would be marked with tho name in full. It might, of course, happen, if W was worked on the cushion, that it was a present to an officer.
