Membership of this Board. I am a large ratepayer of tlio City, where I hare been' in practice for over twenty-five years. For over twenty years I have been a member of the Wellington Hospital Trustees; for more than twelve years a member of the District .Hospital Board, and have acted as Chairman and Treasurer of that Board, while I have also been Chairman of the Wellington and Wairarapa United Charitable Aid Board .for several years. This experience, coupled with about seven years' service on the Wellington Benevolent Trustees, has' given me a complete" insight into the working of every Department now to be administered -by the new Board.
