MR. BUDDO'S VETO RE THE WANGANUI ZOO.
„ iike to'know why the public of Wanganui,; and also tourists, should be deprived of an up-to-date Zoo in thejr .district,, owing to the whim of one. mail. . If he > refuses to allow the cheetahs, foxes, and leopards/ etc. tp land, why did the Government.give, a-permit for snakes to be brought into the country?-. i We know .for a fact, that the owners have been .hatching isnakes in Auckland. There must be a screw loose somewhere. Why doesn't Mr. Buddo give a reason for his action? Considering the trouble and expense that .Mr. Boyd'ihas' gone to in securing the animals, it is to be hopecTthat he will be shown a little justice. Thanking you. —I am, etc., . 1 : ; W. G. DYSON., Ohakune, February 28.
