COLLEGE RIFLES.
—: , The first company parade at the Garrison Hall under the territorial system was tho Collego Rifles, who last evening mustered 1-3 of all ranks, under Captain Turner. Tho company - was exercised in double-rank drill, which has boon adopted sinco March 1. The Collego Rifles had a record muster at tho Kitchener camp, 59 members answering tho roll call. Considering tho inclement state of the weather, this muster is considered highly satisfactory, and is an excellent demonstration of tho esprit do corps of tho company. Two members. Privates L. Wv-Ward and E. J. Harvey (both of whom served with the New Kcalaud contingents iu South Africa), liavo been awarded the twelve years' long-service medal. In June next three more members of the company will become entitled to the same decoration, Messrs. Lever Bros., Ltd. (through their agents, Messrs. W. and G. Turnbull and Co.), have presented the College Rifles with a valuablo silver cup as a shooting trophy.
