W.R.—The time given in answer to F.I.J, was the standard zone time adopted by the Telegraph Department. The actual times'are as follow:—At 12 noon Greenwich mean time it is 9.40 p.m. at Melbourne; 10.15 p.m. at Sydney and, 11.39 p.m. at Wellington. The difference between Melbourne and Wellington is thus two hours less one minute.
