ADVENTURE IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL.
An alarming adventure happened to a boy at the lunatic asylum at Klagenfurt recently, says a Vienna message. He was passing the : building with bis brother wheu one. of the patients called to them and invited them to enter; promising them a pair of skates. One of the boys, who is aged thirteen, scaled the walls and accompanied the man to a cellar. There the idiot, who was considered quite harmless, seized him, stripped him, tied.his foot together, and then hung him up, head downwards. Afterwards he-cut the boy down and stuffed him up the chimney,"blocking up the hearth with pieces of wood , . Meanwhile the other boy returned home and told his parents that his brother had entered the asylum. They immediately applied there, but the lunatic said, that tho lad had gone after receiving the pair of skates. . . ... It was not till the next day that moans coming from , the chimney attracted attention, and the boy was found, half dead from cold, hunger, and fright.
