There'had been two elections during, the : year, one to fill the .seat on tho senate, left .vacant .by the expiry, of Mr. 'von Haast's term. ■ Mr. von,Haast had been' re-elected,•. ,and ■. ' the, others- to -fill the vacancies-on. the College!, Counoil . caused "by . the retirement of Sir Robert' Stout,. ,and of Mr. F. "P. Wilson, the latter being appointed to tho teaching staff, Mr. J. G. W.AHken and Mr. 1 H. H. Ostler had been appointed. The report contains an expression of tho committee's appreciation of the' great services rendered.by Sir Robert Stout during the years he had represented tho graduates on tho council. There will be no election to the senate but one tothe Collego Council on the expiry of Mr. A. R..
