'.-; The -secretary'to thev.-English. Engby Union - wrote • stating' that the amendments to 'lawe-proposed by the N.Z. Union, and by other colonial unions, had beei thoroughly'thrashed : out by its laws committee, and by their, representatives on the International' Board. The Marlborough, Union inquired under what rule, the N.Z.VUnion had increased a. sentence-on'a. player residing in, their . district. Mr. T/'.D; Taylor, president of the defunct sub-union at Havelock, stated 1 that if.a new union; independent of tho Nelson and.Marlborough Unions, wero'established -thers,, it. would .resuscitate the game'..
