Three of the-thefts committed'were at Wood's Hotel, the Coffee Palace, and the City Hotel. It appeared that 'watches, • bracelets, rings, blouses,: and petticoats : all served her turn, . and . she . slept in one private, house in the absence of the occupants; who were on holiday, and was caught there. . There.were eightsuch charges-against'her,-and she plead- 1 ed guilty to ally and; waS committed to . the Supreme Court for; sentence;- 'When arreted- she was wearing somo of the stolen jewellery. ■' Another 1 charge - of - theft is pending against her. , BOGUS MINING SHARES. ; YOUNG MAN APPKEEENDED.
