Tho fortnightly meeting of. the ' Butt Borough Council was held last evening, and there were present: The .Mayor (Mr--13. .P. Bunny), Councillors Baldwin, Macaskill, Barlow, Hayes, Kemptkorne,; Pearce, Clere,Valid Mowbray. Tho Education Department wrote stating that there was no provision /whereby public libraries could" be subsidised as .formerly. " ' ... Good progress had been' mado with the work in connection with Cooper's dedication.
