BUTTEE-BOX FACTORY BURNT.

Owing to the bursting of a lamp, the Eongotea butter-box factory was set on fire .this morning a little after 8 o'clock,and,.the.whole' building and -its contents were; destroyed. The iactory, which was situated some: distance -.out of the ■ township, was owned and-worked by Mr. Alfred Broadbelt, who will be s great loser, as. there,'was'.very : little, insurance- on" cither .the plant or the building.- AH tho butter : factories iii'tho.'neighbourhood obtained "their supplies'of boxes from, this factoryj and they .will now bo put to a. considerable'amount of inconvenience' in' obtaining boxes, as none of them held any quantity in advance.
