Entries for events at the Swifts' Club carnival, Which is to be hilil nfcxt Saturday, and -which were to have olosed yesterday, have been extended until today. So far, 70 entries have been received for the .50. yards inter-club handicap, and 31 for the 220 event, while, for the brocket 30 <!ntrnhts have nominated. Healy, Freyberg,- Roberts, and Brice have 'nominated for the 100: yards centre championship, and a good race is assured. ■ WATER POLO. The Y.M.C.A. v. Wellington B water' polo match, played at To Aro Baths last evening,' resulted .in. a win fdr Y.M.O.A/ by 3 to 2. Hauna scored tho three goals for the and Soinervillo and AVino scored for Wellington. Two players on tho Wellington sido.wtro ordered out of the water for breaches of the rules. W. Wilson played an-excellent game for tho winners, showing fine judgment throughout.' Mr. Geo.
