The Cardinal dedared that non-seotarian 'education as it was. called was nothing 'mbro than■ a nondescript system of irreligious belief .which' might,': be more. or less conformable to ■ Protestant principles, and consistent with Protectant tsnots?, but as viewod by Catholics it was a stereotyped system of infidelity and agnosticism.
