'.-, The secretary read, the 'balance-sheet, ; which .showed steady progress; Tho Acting-District Chief Ruler (Bro'. J.' Rash), was present, and gave a report on; the Jubilee Orphanage Fund; which stood at .over ,£7OO. Ah'- effort' is' being made to increase that amount.'' The District Secrc-I .tnry- reported a good, increase .of .'. new Tents and-progress for the'.past year. :■ During the present month- the-leaders of thoEechabito Order .will-assemble in Wellington... The delegates to visit Wellington include the District Chief Ruler, Bro. J.. Wesncy (Invercargill), Bro.: E. H. Taylor, D.D.R.-(Christcliurch), Bro., J. M.' Caldor, P.D.C.R.-'. (Nelson), and Bro. It. M'Creth, D.S.J .B. : (Invercargill). They will "confer with the various officers at Wellington. The members of the .different branches in'-. and , around Welling-, ton are uniting to.give a.welcome to the district officers. At a meeting held last night, delegates from the Hope of Wellington, Excelsior, and Aid io the Rescue Tents, met and decided to arrange 'a banquet in honour of tho visit which will take place on February 22. ■.- -:',-:,.', v.
