The Port of London Authority (established under the Port of London Act) has drawn up tho following schedulo of proposed maximum charges per ton:— Antimony regulus, 2s„ ore Ib. 6d.: copper, 25., matte 10d:, ore Bd.; lead, 6d., ore 4d.; tin, 25., ore 4d.; 6peltor, Cd.; wolfram, 6d.; zinc, 5d., oro 4d.; hoofs, 6d.; horns, 2s. 6d.; hides, dry Is.,'.wet 6d.; leather, 25.; wool, Is. 6d.; sheepskins and rabbitskins, Is. 6d.; bark, Is.; gum, 25.; hemp, Is. 6d.; hops, 3s.;.tallow, 25.; honey, 2s. 6d.; wheat, barley, oats, and peas, 6d.; flour, Is.; apples, pears, oranges, grapes, and dried fruits, 25.; fruit pulp, 35.;. butter, 2s. 6d'.; cheese, Is. 6d.; frozen and tinned meats, 25.; poultry, 2s. 6d.; woodblocks, 4d.; wines and spirits in.bulk, Is. per hundred gallons, bottled, Id. per dozen quarts; specie, gold 2d., silver 6d.'per £100. sterling. . The above charges are for.the upkeep of the port, irrespective of dock charges.
