Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report:— At .our Palmcrston sale yesterday we had a very . good entry of sheep, but. only a small.entry'.of-cattle'carno forward. Lambs of !all classes-were--in good demand, and wothers also Rold at -satisfactory prices. Quotations:—Cull lambs, 3s. lid.; small lambs, 55.; woiher lambs, ss. 10d.; rape lambs, 6s. 9d.; 6s. 10d., to 7s. 3d.; a good lino' of Down crosß " two-tooth - wethers; small, 10s. 9d.j two and four-tooth wethers, lis.; four-tootli wethers, lis. 6d.; ewe"lambs, small, 6s. 2d.; woolly lambs, to. 75.v6d.; store .cows, £2. 2s. fid.; . forward, heifers, £3 la.; forward cows, £3 165.; light fat [com, £4 10s.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that, at their sale at Palmerston North on Thursday, *a good inquiry existed for, all classes of stock,.and the following prices were realised:—Fat ewes, lis. lid.; two'and-four-tooth wethers, lis.; four and six-tooth-and f.in. Romney ewes, lis. 3d.; four and" six-tooth and f.m. Lincoln cross eVesi 9s.
