Archibald Brown,' proprietor. of. the motor engineering works in Castle Street, died in Ihe hospital to-day v from the/effects of mercurial- poisoning. ■When admitted' to,the hospital deceased had in his possession a'headache wafer, and in .the same pocket was a packet of mercury'chloride. .The -wrapper ,oMthe mercury packet was broken, and some of the contents,were apparently.mixed with the headache, wafer. . Deceasediwas:admitted'to. the institution on January 22.
