SAILORS' REST.
The St. Patriok'6 Conference of the St. ; Vincent do Paul Society recommenced the fortnightly concerts in the Sailors' Best last evening, and tho appreciation of their efforts was amply demonstrated by the large assemblage of seamen from.tho various vessels iii port which attended: '■ A capital programme was submitted, to which'tho following'ladies- and gentlemen contributes:—Miss S. .Colemanand Miss I). Coloman, pianoforte duet; Mr. F. M'Corraack, song;, Miss Bailey, song; Mr. J. Barry, sailors' hornpipe; Mr. Pott 9, song; Miss Craig, song and dance; Miss N. .Strickland, song; . Mr. G. ■ Schmidt, recitation; Miss F. Frith and Miss A. Frith, duet; Mr. J/Mahoney, song;' Miss F. ' Frith',' ; song; Mr. -J. Kiiowlos, coniic song; Mr. J. Barry, bagpipe solo. Master Norman Dontico also contributed $»vcral eongs, dances, and "comic specialities, which wore greeted with hearty rounds of applause. The accompaniments ware efficiently plwed by tho Misses Frith, Cokman, and Mr. A. Denticc. Captain Bonner returned thanks. '
