: Tho last, meeting of'the .Excelsior' Tent, 1.0. R., was held in St. Thomas's schoolroom, Newtown, Chief' Ruler 'Bro. -J. Robinson' in tho chair. New. officers were duly, installed under the new • ritual, iwhich was explained by the Chief Ruler. Tho secretary, reported that there was. ■oric member on the sick list.. It -wits.announced that all : the .district officers ■would bo in -Wellington during February next, • when a full meoting •of district secretaries would bo held. Tlie .Tent presented Past Chief' Ruler Bro. .Ward with a past-chief ruler's collar, in ■token of having successfully . passed through tho chairs- It was dccided to 'entertain the juveniles at a picnic, to bo hold shortly. One incmber present promised a liberal donation.;
