A SCHOOL OF EATING.
An enterprising woman, "Frau Holker, has started a-school at Budapest, says an English' paper, '• where pupils of all ages ore;given a full,course of instruction -in the art of eating. Practical demonstrations are given ■in ordinary table ra'nnners.'ibut the chief aim of the establishment is to teach the'ignorant how to. deal successfully with' such dishes as they have never oven heard of. "Who does not recollect in her experience moments .of unspeakable anguish," asks Frau Holker, "when at a dinner-party she finds that she is using her knife and fork for a dish that only requires a •poon, or vice versa? .It is to savo men, gad women from < these little tragedies that I have opened my school." Examinations are to be held at the 'end of teach term, when the students will be' requested to attack an array of "unknown delicacies sot before them. .Those who undergo,the ordeal successfully will attain a certificate from Frau Holker which will enable them to face any bantpiat without flinching. •
