The trade union and labour organisations have issued a< circular urging that all Parliamentary candidates should be asked whether they vrill support an amendment to the Trado Union Aots to enablo tho unions to continue their political activities (which are severely restricted by x the recent decision on appeal that it is illegal to use trado union funds to pay the salaries of Labour members of Parliament).
