THREE GOVERNMENTS TO SHARE THE BLTtDEN. SCHEME OF ISLAND STATIONS. (By Tclceroph-Preeß AMoci»tion-Oopyrlirht.l Melbourne, December 22. Tho Wireless Conference (at which were represented Australia, New Zealand, 'and tho Western Pacific Islands) has concluded. It adopted a report, which will be submitted to the various Governments concerned and' tho Admiralty. Tho decisions meantime will not bo made public. i It is understood that the report recommends' that a system of wireless telegraphy bo installed to work in conjunction with tho Pacifio cable, threo installations to bo carried out by the Governments interested, on a proportional basis; and that a staff, probably subject to the Pacifio Cable Board, bo created to undertake tho operating of the system. Stations, it is suggested, will be established at Fiji, Solomon Islands, Ocean Island, New Hebrides, Earotonga, Tonga, and other points.
