HOMING PIGEON RACE.

The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society flew a race from l'arenza to Wellington (480 mild) on Friday last. l ? orty-fivo birds, were hborated at 5 α-ai., and by 6 p.m. nearly the whole of them had homed.
