Boanerges and Gloss, a two-year-old Soult filli ' from the "llighdon" slablo, were nksociatck in a fivo-furlong iluttor. Boanerges galloticd, i)i excellent style, and was much too good tot the youngster. Tho Cup candidates, Pcrollha and Tawhalii, covered a solid milo together, and each finished with a strong paco in Imiiu Wlsec-a good gallop. Koran, who had been left in tho Cup in preference to tho stablemate Crucmella, went a milo by himself, and a. similar task was allotted to Waikarnka, I\either was extended. An attractive gallon was put up by the Multiform colt Poly--morphous, who easily beat' Marathon over sir furlongs, which wero'covered comfortably in Imin. 19Jsoc. Useful work was done by Windage, Criicinclla, Pnisaiio, Flingot, Bourrasquo, and several others.
