The committee of the Petone Rowing Club have selected tho following crows to lepresent them at the Picton regatta on New Year's Day:-Maidon fours: C. Gallaher (str) D Byrnes (3), B'Tremam (21, A. 1 NO-LICENSE LEAGUE. The ordinary monthly jrablio meeting of the Hutt No-License League was held in the Victoria Street Hall lost evening, the chair being occupied by the Mayor (Mr. J. W MacEwan). An interesting address was given by tho Eov, A. Beamer, and vocal and instrumental items were contributed by the Hisses Kir!i, Miller, Armitage, MacEwan, Messrs. House, Jowett, Master Willoughby, and Mr and Mrs. A, Wright. It is the intention of tho leafpio to canvass tho whole of the Ilutt electorate for assistance for the forthcoming bazaar.
