INTER-COLLEGE EACE. The rowing contest betivoen the Wellmtrton and Wangonm College orews, which was postponed from Thursday, was decided yesterday race was got off at Petone, the V& at tho southern end of tho harbour being too rough. Iho Wanganui men wiped out the shug of defeat at cricket by winning eatily by t.irco lengths. The winners werS never extended and they could probably ha™ done much bettor had they been pressed.
