MODEL YACHTING.
On Tuesday last the Kilbirnie Model Yacht Club held a raco for a prizo presented by, Dr. R. If. Makgill. v Tho starters were: Champion (scr.), Herald (lirain.); Ariki (ljmin.), :.• Grey Witph (Hmin.), Vigilant "(2tnin.),.VSeabird (3min.). .Tho- Herald performed some''evolutions before the start, arid when she did start would not keep on the proper course. : Champion gradually caught the Ariki (which 1 , was late in starting).
