Bingham, officiated as installing officer.: Tho receipts for last lodge night amounted-to £489 155.. 9d.-: On Monday, December 20, an open pound'night will be held, jinS-during the evening two presentations will lie-' made, the recipients being P.A. Bro. Parsons (P.A. collar - - and framed diploma), and Bro. • Quarrio (a P.S. collar). A hearty vote ot thanks was passed to the visitors, who were A.D, Bro. Jioot' and Bro.'Hearheld, of the Excelsior Lodge, and P.A. Bro. Allan, of. thi Coronation Lodge, who was balloted ,for as' D.P. of No. 2 District. . -. , At tho weekly session of the Piomer' Lodge .of Good Templars, held in tho. Eechttbito Hall, Street, -on--Monday evening, Bro. R. Coulter, C.T., presided over a good attendance, of members and friends. . The brothers of the lodge were responsible for the evening, and the following musical prograniino was arranged,: and proved very enjovabl©:— Rcoitation, Bro. Burchell; song, Bro.'Smitlu recitation, Bro. Croome; song, < Bro. speech, Bro. Burns; reading,- BrorEeid; song' ■Bro. Mlvenzie; song, Bro. Merry; recitation, Bro. G. Petherick, G.S.; song, Bro. Millan. A guessing competition was won by Sister Harding. During the evening' refreshments were handed round.
