Employees protests emphatically against Clause 7of the Mining Act as a direct - unwarrantable, and un-callod-for interfermco with, employees'' liberty of action, and against Clause 8 as-a hindrance to the working, of mines and a piece of class legislation, om to tho exclusion of non-unionists. The union approves the cancellation of Clause 254, but to. tally opposes Section 10, and' asks that it b* struck out.

Williams, has just been sold, to Mr. ■ Harold Bull, who not long ago disposed of his run at Waingaro.
