London, December 2, ' Resenting a criticism of ,tho singing of his wife (Clara Butt), Kqnncrley Rumford boxed the ears of "Tho Times" critic, Mr. Collis, in tho vestibule of tho Queen's Hall. Mr. Rumfnni refused a demand by "The Times" for an apology, alleging that tho socalled criticism was one of a series of attacks, Mr. Collis has commenced Polico Court proceedings.
