LEIDERTAFEL CONCERT. Tie musical publio -of ;Lowcr Hutt wero afforded a .treat..last night,', when the Wellington Licdertafel, assisted by a party of ladies, paid them a visit. The Town Hall was well tilled' for the concert, and the audience showed their appreciation iu. a hearty manner. Tho liedertafel is now. so ' well ' known that little comment is needed on its'performance, beyond saying that it . was: quiteup to the standard of the choir's concerts in 'Wellington. The choral items.were: Part song ("Lovely Spring"); song and chorus ("The Old Superb"), solo by Air. Douglas Jackson; part song ("Tears of Anguish"), _ solo by Mr. Hugh Wright; part songs ('When. Evening's Twilight,"'. "The. Bugle Song" from Tennyson's "Princess," and "Spin,'-Spin"); solo and corus'; ("God-for King Charles"), solo by Mr;' F. V. "Waters; solo and chorus, ("Landerkennung'f), solo by Mr. Hugh. Wright; song, with humming accompaniment ("Drink to me only with thine eyes"), Mr.-R. B. -Williams; part song ("Tho GosUngs"). The solo items, all .of which were well rendered were as follow.—Song ("When Bright Eyes Glanco"), Air. W. S. Inman; song ("Love is a Delightful .Bird"), Miss Phoebo Parsons; pianoforte. solo ("Study in C Major '),, Mrs. C. M. Hector;, song ('"Ever, So ESS, J J- F. Carr; pianoforte solo (Thou.
