James Kemp, station-master at Upper Hutt, deposed that he saw tho man holding on to tho stanchion rail of ono of tho carriages as the train entered tho station. The man was taken off : and'thop complained that his feet w-ero sore. Ho said ho was uot hurt. "Witness inquired how tho accident occurred. Deceased replied,' "I walked over Iho side." To a question as to whether a doctor should.'be called, he replied, "Oh, no, I'm all right; don't Ret a doctor." Sub-Inspector Norwood said that the report of the analyst had not been received. The coroner said that on that account he could no.t rivo his final, verdict, but on the present evidence ho expressed tho opinion that death was due to shock, oaused by the fall from the oarriagc. ,
