"[ The following recommendations were tabled by, the Finance and Property Committee:— That a reply be: sent to the Wellington Licdertafel:informing them that the council , wiE not reduce the .charge'of 15s. for tho use-of the extension platform in the Concert Hall. That permission be granted to Mr. E. H. Wilson to enclose a piece of land.at Oliver Street, deliicated , for street: purposes, bnt used as- a depositing ground for rubbish, at a, rental of _Xl>,per : annum, subject to three months' liotice.on;either side to determine occupancy, iind: conditionally on the land being kept as a garden.: That the St. John Ambulance Association be informed that it is regretted that no'reduction im.the retit of the hall can be made, in connection' with their recent bazaar.
