The Joint Committee of tho House of Lords and tho House of Commons appointed to inquire into tho dramatic censorship (office of Examiner of Plays) has submitted its report The .Committeo recommends a.continuance of tho Censorship, with a Consultative Committeo to'assist the Examiner of Plays. The Committeo is of opinion that it should bo optional to seek a license, and that an unlicensed play might bo performed at the manager's risk of Government prosecution for indecency or impropriety.
