Thfi secretary stated'that he'had arranged for the rise of-five rinks at each of the Wellington, Newtown, Victoria, Thorndon, and Kelbuine Clubs for the championship tourney, being held -by the centre. Entries for the tourney close on , December 15. , It was decided to thank-Messrs. E. , W. Mills and Co., and Johnston and Co., for the donation of trophies,- in the form of bowls. ■ ,lhe centre decided to invite each chib, except Te Hiwi, to send one , rink to meet the newly-formed Wairarapa Centre at Wellington on November 25. If. Wairarapa can send nine teams, Te Hiwi will U asked, to compete. It-was. decided to .write, to the, Thorndon. Olub asking for. permissibn to use 'eicht rinks for the competition. ' It was decided tiiut the matches for the Gioborne trophy should' consist of twenty-one heads, the rules to be the same as under the Diamond Buckles. , .-. ■■; .: • , . ■■ .
