(By Telegraph.—Special Oorrespondcnt) , , , . Auckland, Novombor C. - A sample of crudo oil is now boing oxhibited jn Mr. (jraves Aickin's window. Tlio oil was obtained from a bore put down in a Gisborne oil-held. It . was obtained from a well which !S in elevated country, and-is highly mllamlnable. Iho samplo-of oil shown was struck at a depth Of; 668 ; feet, and it is considered ■that'tho bore .from which it was obtained is one of the most valuable yet put down oil tho hold.
